MasMa HR & BEE Consulting
came into being six years ago as a result of Client demands
requesting a relationship with an independent partner who was
prepared to diversify offerings to accommodate their requirements in
meeting their strategic objectives.
As a result of this, MasMa Consulting offers consulting
in Employment Equity and Skills Development Compliancy, Job
Profiling and Skills Profiling
and integrates all of these into the applicable components of
Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE). MasMa Consulting
works with its Clients in developing a B-BBEE solution or strategy
that best fits their goals and which becomes an integral part of
their daily operations. The initial expertise in Skills Development
and Training plays an integral part in ensuring that compliancy and
return on investment is met within the workplace. This was as a
result of the experience gained in the e-Learning environment where
I had the role of Support Consultant for ADvTECH Skills for 5 years,
followed by an Account Management role for 3 years and then as MD
for 5.5 years. Strategic Account Management, incorporating NETg,
Skillsoft, and Pearson products into the overall Strategy of the
Company paved the way for a more holistic approach to B-BBEE
Compliancy where Skills Development and the advancement of
previously disadvantaged individuals counts 30 points towards the
100 points available for the Generic B-BBEE Scorecard or 50 points
for the QSE Scorecard.

few. We have taken some clients from non-compliancy (Level 9 i.e.
<30 points) to Level 4 (65-75 points) in a year.
